You might be surprised to hear that my reserves are not designed to defeat an enemy or conquer a city, but to keep me at full strength to maneuver my way through cooler temperatures, Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities, and spending more time in confined areas with others who may be sharing what I am not eager to receive.
I have been reflecting on how grateful I am that I have not been sick for more than 2 days a year for the past 5 years. People ask me all the time how I stay so healthy. I honestly attribute this blessing to Young Living's products and to a whole food diet using many of the recipes found on this website. I love the results I am experiencing, so this post is unabashedly about the Young Living essential oils, high quality supplements and non-toxic products that I would not be without, especially at this time of the year.
So what have I been stocking up on lately? I always want to have extra bottles of Thieves in the house. This essential oil blend contains cinnamon bark, clove, eucalyptus, rosemary and lemon. According to Young Living, "Thieves supports healthy immune function*, and it includes Eucalyptus radiata essential oil, which may help maintain a healthy respiratory system.* When taken as a dietary supplement, Thieves is an ideal complement to a daily wellness regimen.*" I travel with my waterless Thieves hand cleaner and use it whenever I have concern about what my hands have come in contact with. I use the Thieves cleaner with confidence in every room of my house, and now am enjoying the Thieves laundry soap too.
I love the oils that support my respiratory system. Last night I used Raven oil just to enhance deep breathing and better sleep. Raven is a blend of Ravensara, lemon, wintergreen, peppermint and Eucalyptus radiata. I could immediately feel the tingle as I rubbed it on my chest and felt myself taking deep, relaxing breaths. It made me feel wonderful. I also enjoy Breathe Again roll on, R.C. essential oil blend, and singles like eucalyptus radiata, eucalyptus blue, peppermint and others. Combine some of these in a hot bath and soak, breathing in support and comfort.
I love citrus oils, such as lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, in my water to support my immune system and encourage me to drink more water. As I type this, I am sipping warm water with oils added for a delightful, super easy and inexpensive tea.
