A few weeks ago, I turned 55 years young! Happy birthday to me! As I reflect on where I find myself at this time in my life, I am very grateful for the quality of my health, the friendships and relationships I enjoy, and the opportunities for personal growth, financial security and fun adventures. Of course there are challenges, but every day, each year for the past 5 years, my health has been improving and my life has become richer in so many ways. Thank you for being a part of this journey and my joy!
I hope from where you stand, the view is just as positive. If you reflect and are not happy with your health, your circumstances, your finances, or relationships, you can make the choice, at any moment in time, to improve your situation or change the direction you are sailing.
A few of my favorite resources for inspiration are Jim Rohn's "The Art of Exceptional Living", Success Magazine monthly, Jesus Calling, Love and Respect, and anything by John Maxwell.
I have been working lately on transforming my negative, limiting beliefs and have found What to Say to Yourself When You Talk to Yourselfby Shad Helmstetter to offer valuable tips for healthier thinking. I catch myself with stinkin' thinkin' throughout the day and now I am making changes. There are so many resources that can help us get unstuck, change our thinking and beliefs, and empower us to be all that God intends us to be.
So what do you have to lose? Take a positive step. Check out a book, download an audio, search for a new healthy recipe, join a support group, develop a new skill or take on a new adventure. Ask God to lead you to the resource He has in mind for you. I believe He will and you will be glad He did.
