This past Thursday at our weekly Pittsburgh Young Living meeting, we shared a number of great ideas with one another and some attendees went home with free samples, gift baskets and goodies. I will share a few ideas with you, but if you would like a copy of our recipe booklet, drop me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and it will be sent right away.

The Pampering Basket that I made and put into a cosmetic bag that I had around the house contained Lavender Joy Bath Salts, a 1 oz. container of Sensation Hand and Body Cream, an ART Beauty Mask (the most expensive addition), a Slique tea bag and a Winter Smooth Hand Scrub. Here are two of the recipes to get you started.
Lavender Joy Bath Salts
1/2 cup of Epson Salts
1 tsp baking soda (softens the water)
1 tsp crystalized Vitamin C (helps neutralize chlorine)
6 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil
3-5 drops Young Living Joy essential oil blend
Mix all together in a bowl until combined. Put into a 6 oz jelly jar and decorate the lid with fabric, ribbon, and other small objects. Add a label which reads, "Lavender Joy Bath Salts: Add to tub under running water. swish to dissolve completely and enjoy!"
Winter Smooth Hand Scrub
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. Young Living V6 oil
3 Tbsp. olive oil
10 drops Young Living oil of your choice (Lavender, Geranium, Sensation, or 5 drops of Rose)
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Spoon contents into a 4 oz. jelly jar. Label and decorate with desired trimmings.
We had presentations on making scented pinecones, leather wrist bands that you can scent with oils on the underside, lockets with essential oil dabbed felt inside (which I won as a door prize and was very excited about), and fizzy bath bombs.
I'll post more ideas and recipes over the next few days, but remember to email me for the complete booklet. If you have a creative idea you think others would like, feel free to leave a comment or email the recipe to me.
