During the day, I use Lemon essential oil in my water to support my immune system. I might breath in Peppermint to help me be more alert, or mist Thieves oil in water into the air during the winter to freshen the air.
At the end of the day, I head to my oils to add Peace and Calming or Stress Away to my wrists and the back of my neck to help promote emotional wellbeing; I put Release oil on my liver if I've experienced anger or resentment, or I use Deep Relief on my tight neck and shoulder muscles from working on the computer. What a difference!
At the days end, I love to use my Progessence Plus Serum to support my endocrine system.
I diffuse Lavender oil into the air or rub it on my pillow to promote restful sleep.
There are many different products in my home that I have replaced with just a few small bottles of various essential oils. Since I only use a few drops of an oil each time, a bottle of oil can last for months. There is much evidence and scientific documentation confirming the effectiveness of essential oils. (Check out PubMed for many scientific papers)
I use Young Living products for my personal care (shampoo, toothpaste, lotions), for my cleaners (Thieves, Lemon) and for my nutritional supplements. I'll share some of this in other posts.
I believe there will come a time when essential oils will be used in every home to some extent, because they just make sense. While you are using the oils, you are not using chemically laden alternatives.
If you are not already using essential oils, I'd love to help you get started. Email me at email@example.com or click the "Purchase Products" link.
Have an anointed day!
