Consider doing a cleanse. Whether you choose the 21 day Gut Cleanse by Dr. Alexandro Junger, Young Living's 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse or the Cleansing Trio, or the Master Cleanse, choosing to clean out the colon and allow the body to refuel is an effective way to improve overall health.
The gut is the key to health. It is where 80% of our immune system resides and involves a universe of microscopic bacteria, fungi, enzymes that work together to digest, absorb, defend, eliminate and communicate with the rest of the body. If the gut ain't happy, ain't no body happy!
The Clean Gut program is one I have done several times (see blog posts) and have just started again (today actually). Trigger foods and those contributing to an overgrowth of yeast and unfriendly bacteria are eliminated for 21 days. Supplements to repair and rebuild the gut are added so that rebuilding, recolonizing and a healthy environment can be reestablished. Since I trust the high quality of my Young Living supplements, I choose to use essentialzymes-4, Detoxzyme, JuvaTone, Super B, Life 5, Master Formula Multivitamin, Inner Defense, and Lemon, Thieves, Peppermint, Orange oils in my drinking water. I also used NingXia Red for exceptional nutrition and antioxidants, and Power Meal for the recommended protein powder.

I love to use all natural cleaners so I don't have toxic fumes circulating, and my all time favorite cleaner is Young Living's Thieves Household Cleaner. It smells wonderful, boosts the immune system while you clean and is amazingly effective at purifying surfaces. One capful makes a whole 32 oz bottle of cleaner for less than $2. Just mix with water.
Let's get ourselves back on track, clean up our act and enjoy the beauty and blessings of this winter season by staying healthy and upbeat.
