Healthy Gingerbread Chocolates
I love my raw, healthy chocolates...in moderation, of course. Here is a new twist on my old favorite.
1/2 cup organic, cold pressed, extra virgin coconut oil, melted
3 tablespoons organic almond butter
4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
2 Tbsp organic molasses
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or ¼ tsp vanilla powder
1 drop each Young Living ginger & cinnamon bark essential oils
1/8 tsp each cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg & clove powders
Stir all together and pour into square dish lined with wax paper.
Refrigerate until solid. Break into pieces to enjoy. Keep cold in freezer or refrigerator.
I am always looking for creative ways to adapt my chocolate candy recipe. Recently, I had the idea to combine the spices of gingerbread with my chocolate candy base. The result was very enjoyable and so I thought you might enjoy trying them.
